Stuck in the Big Apple again today. It was a nice day, but now it’s cloudy and has really cooled off, down to 63. So I checked to see how it is in Dreamtown. Scattered clouds and 82.

Oh, and while the sun actually sets about 20 minutes later in Dreamtown, it seems more like an hour since in Manhattan the sun disappears behind the buildings even earlier. Just sayin’ …
Why do people in New York City (NYC) persist in calling the entire state outside of their five boroughs “upstate”? Dreamtown is in western New York. Yes, it’s north of NYC, but it’s much more west and about as far west as you can go and still be in the state.
Yesterday, I had the misfortune of (temporarily) leaving Dreamtown for NYC. I left sunny and 62 for cloudy and 47. I’d rather be in Dreamtown. <sniff> But then, who wouldn’t?
